How the Proilte Girth combats areas of girth when choosing a girth
Rubs or soreness
The soft synthetic leather-look material ensures comfort, while the Prolite® floating edge allows muscles to move freely, reducing restriction and pressure. A contoured, cushioned shape creates a buffer zone, preventing discomfort from hard edges. Designed to bypass high-pressure areas, it ensures even pressure distribution. The Prolite® lining absorbs impact, prevents rubbing, and spreads pressure over a larger surface, minimizing stress and discomfort.
Elasticity Issues
Once fully stretched, elastic loses its shape and elasticity. Our research shows, when using minimal elastic (max 2cm stretch) on girth buckles, pressures are reduced when girthing, without compromising performance of the girth. Resulting in improved horse comfort and reduced negative reactions.
Saddle slipping
The Prolite® girth is engineered for superior stability and comfort, featuring a rigid internal structure that maintains both girth and saddle position at walk, trot, and canter. This innovative design allows the saddle and girth to move in harmony with the horse, reducing pressure, preventing slipping, and enhancing overall performance. The stiffer construction is a key element, ensuring a secure fit without compromising comfort, giving both horse and rider the confidence to perform at their best.
